AIX Rosé 2025 is a Provence rosé from Maison Saint Aix in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. It is dry and fresh, with red berries, citrus and a savoury, salty finish. It is a great match for oysters and raw fish, or an afternoon in the summer shade.
In the glass it shows a pale, bright pink. The aromas on the nose lean towards rosehip, redcurrant and sour cherry, with a floral lift of wildflowers. It is a good weekend wine, dry and crisp enough to pour before dinner.
The vines sit at 420 metres above sea level, among the highest in the appellation.
What it tastes like
The wine has a dry, fresh palate carried by a fine melt of fruit. Citrus and white peach run through it, with a spicy tang. The finish is savoury, with a touch of fleur de sel (fine sea salt) and dried herbs. It is delicious.

Who makes it
Maison Saint Aix is a 75-hectare Domaine near Sainte-Victoire mountain in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. The estate is around 140 years old.
Eric Kurver has owned the Domaine and made the wine since 2009. Limestone-rich soils give the wine freshness and a mineral edge. The Grenache, which forms the backbone of the blend, comes from vines about 60 years old.
For the 2025 vintage, the grapes were picked over 17 nights, between 27 August and 25 September. The juice was cold-settled at 0°C, and each grape variety was fermented separately before blending.
About the vintage
Autumn and spring rain restored the soil's water reserves ahead of the 2025 season, according to Kobrand's release notes for the wine.
August was extremely hot, but there was no frost damage. The harvest was one of the earliest on record for Maison Saint Aix, and Kobrand describes the fruit as being of exceptional quality.
