Marques de Riscal is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja, and nowadays is one of the region's most striking - the modernist extension to their traditional bodega is among the '10 architectural wonders of the world' and houses a hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant, as well as the winery.
A classic Rioja Reserva. Full bodied and muscular, yet smoothly polished and embellished with complex aromas of vanilla and toasted oak, combined with summer fruit flavours.
This wine goes well with ham, cheeses, and spicy lamb casseroles. Will age for a further 5+ years.
